The Hong Kong Society for Nursing Education is a Continuing Nursing Education Provider accredited by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong & a Post-registration Education in Midwifery Provider accredited by the Midwives Council of Hong Kong
The objectives for which the Society established are:

To promote the welfare and protect the interests of the nursing profession

To make application or representation to the Government or other appropriate authorities
on any question or matter affecting the nursing education or the members of the Society.

To facilitate and encourage the free exchange of personal experiences, research findings.

To provide for the delivery and holding of lectures, classes, conferences, exhibitions and public meetings, and to publish bulletins or other publications for the advancement of nursing education.
Activities
Professional Development The Society holds regular educational activities including conferences, courses, seminars, workshops and educational visits to serve the needs of the nursing communities.
Nursing Education Development The Society promotes the quality of nursing education. It has regular meetings with the Government and other appropriate authorities to discuss issues relating to nursing education policy and practice.
Service Provision to the Public The Society organizes various health promotion programs for the public.
Communication and networking The Society publishes a newsletter three times per year, and produces a biannual monograph. The Society organizes professional visits and activities locally, nationally and worldwide.
